In our last newsletter, our newly launched MCP integration got a lot of space. It does again in this issue. I've seen how much it actually changes. Over 100 people attended our latest Kleer Labs, showing that interest in working with AI in financial management is strong. Now we're taking the next step and opening up for the AI tool to not just read your data, but write it too. This issue also brings news on contracts, project management, expenses, and partnerships that make everyday work easier.
Since we launched our MCP integration, more than 400 customers have connected, and we've built close to 70 MCP tools. Each tool is a specific function the AI tool can use, for example fetching a balance or registering an absence. Below are two of the latest steps. We're also releasing the option to enable write access via MCP.
At mcp.kleer.se/verktyg you'll find all 62 tools the AI tool has access to, across 17 areas. There you can see what each tool does and how the figures are calculated.
So far, the AI tool has only been able to read your data in Kleer. Now it can also write. Right now this is open for absence, time reporting including approval and authorization, and receipts and expenses. Every action is shown to you and confirmed before it lands in Kleer. The feature is optional and switched off by default. If you want to turn it on, contact your consultant.
If you have both Kleer and your email connected, you can ask the AI tool to find receipts for card purchases that are missing documentation. You'll get a list of the purchases along with the receipt that seems to match each one, and you choose which ones to submit. Easier receipt handling, one of our focus areas this fall.
You can now ask what's budgeted, account by account and month by month. The AI tool compares the result against the uploaded budget (not the budget for an individual project). For example, ask what you've budgeted for premises costs this year, or ask for the whole period summarized instead of one line per month. If the budget is broken down by category, you can get that breakdown too. An addition many of you have asked for, to get a more complete CFO dashboard.
Kleer Labs are our sessions where you get to test and build with Kleer's MCP together with us. This time we're running an open house in person at the office so you can get help moving forward. Bring whatever you're stuck on, or come see how the MCP is used. The team and I will be there all morning.

We're currently planning better support in the platform for retainer and fixed-price projects without progressive profit recognition. This is an area where several of you have asked for more flexibility. Do you work with this type of business model and want to help shape how it should work? Get in touch with Tom Airaksinen, product owner, at tom.airaksinen@kleer.se.
Many of you have asked for the ability to give more people access to the dashboards in our Insights module. That's why we're now opening up permission control for the Period Overview, Consultant KPI, and Absence Overview. A team lead will be able to see their team's utilization rate, and a business area manager gets a quick overview in the Period Overview. More information will be sent out during October as we make the feature available to everyone.
We've rebuilt how you manage your employees in Kleer, separating employees from users. As part of this, Employees gets its own place in the menu, with a quick overview of employee numbers, hires and departures, and planned changes. The employment contract itself has also been restructured, making it easier to create and update contracts. The feature is rolling out gradually through the fall and reaches all customers by the end of October.
Soon, more people will be able to help manage receipts on the same card, thanks to two improvements.
The first improvement is that you can connect several email addresses to one user. For example, if you want to collect receipts at a shared address (such as receipts@company.com) that's forwarded into Kleer with an automated rule. Previously this required a made-up user account just to own that address. Now you add it directly to a real user instead.
You can also add more administrators to the same card. The cardholder no longer has to handle all the receipts alone. Others can go in and add documentation directly.
This is especially useful if you have subscription cards, where several people often share the same card for different services.
Håll utkik efter nyheter i systemet när funktionerna är på plats att användas.

We've improved our AI model for receipt interpretation, and it's already rolled out to all customers. You'll notice it right away whenever a receipt and a card purchase haven't been matched automatically. Instead of just a thumbnail with a date, you now see the merchant, amount, currency, and date for each receipt. The same interpretation makes receipts searchable, so you can quickly find the right one even if you just snapped a photo on the go without linking it to an expense right away. It's already live on the web, and coming soon to the app too.
If you use the Kleer card, the transaction data goes straight into Kleer, so you don't have to enter the purchases yourself.
In the system you'll now find a new tab, Company Cards, where you can easily order and connect to the Kleer card. It's entirely digital. You handle everything yourself in the system, whether you already use the card today or want to get started for the first time.
You choose between the Kleer card with personal payment liability, a subscription card, or the plain company card, depending on what suits your organization best.
Don't have the Kleer card yet? It's the best way to make expense handling a fully integrated part of payroll and finance, with receipt handling, categorization, and bookkeeping built directly into the flow.

With factoring, you free up capital from unpaid customer invoices and get paid within 24 hours. Through our partnership with Lendify, you can now sell selected customer invoices directly from the invoice approval step in Kleer. The integration between Kleer and Lendify makes the process simple and automated.
Filters are saved between visits
The filters you apply in a view are now saved when you leave it. When you come back, the same filter is still there. This means you can switch between modules without having to redo your filtering each time. This currently applies to the views for Invoice basis, Register time, Approve/authorize, and Projects.
Warning when closing unbilled projects.
You'll now get a warning when an ongoing project is closed but still has unbilled invoice items. The project can still be closed and invoiced later.
Search by organization number
You can now search by organization number directly in the customer invoice overview, making it easier to find the right invoices.
Copy time reports further back.
The time report has been extended so you can now copy projects and time up to 10 weeks back, instead of just one week as before. Handy for consultants with rotating schedules.
BankID on another device
You can now log in to the mobile app with BankID on a different device. Useful if employees have separate work phones without BankID.
New comparison views in the Income Statement
Comparing figures between periods in the Income Statement is an easy way to see what's happened in the company. There are now two new ways to do this. You can choose the number of years back yourself, up to eight years, instead of only comparing against the immediately preceding year as before. You can also compare any two months against each other, choosing which two months to compare yourself.
